On Tuesday, audiences can enjoy Gaetano Donizetti's opera Don Pasquale, truly one of the Italian maestro's calling cards, which has been capturing the Russian Seasons online space for many years. The comicality and depth of the plot are what draw the audience's attention to this production. The St. Petersburg Symphonietta orchestra took part in the performance. The musical direction of the opera Don Pasquale was carried out by the famous conductor, honored art worker of the Republic of Karelia Vladimir Stachinsky, artistic director of the orchestra - Chingiz Osmanov. The director was Hans Joachim Frei. The opera was part of the Jubilee St. Petersburg International Festival 'All Together Opera,'which is being broadcast now for the second year on the Stay Home with Russian Seasons platform. The organizer of the festival 'All Together Opera' is the St. Petersburg State Theater Music Hall.
On Thursday evening, listeners will enjoy a concert by the N.G. Zhiganov Symphony Orchestra of the Kazan State Conservatory, conducted by the young conductor Yevgeny Afanasyev. The program includes works by renowned Russian composers. The evening will open with the symphonic fantasy 'Night on Bald Mountain' by M. P. Mussorgsky. The ensemble will also feature soloists of the Kazan Conservatory, winners of prestigious international competitions. Vivid and dynamic Concerto No. 1 for Violin and Orchestra by Azat Nurgayanov will play Prokofiev's concerto, Kamil Mukhametdinov will perform Tchaikovsky's virtuoso Variations on a Rococo Theme for Cello and Orchestra, and Tagir Kamaltdinov will perform the solo in the famous Concerto No. 1 for Piano and Orchestra by Tchaikovsky.
