Theatre critic, historian. Graduated from faculty of Theatre history and criticism of GITIS (1993) GrigoryZaslavsky made PhD in Philology (2011) and dedicated his thesis to “The historical method and the national myth about hero and warrior in the tragedy “Rosslav” by Y.B.Knyazhnin. His works and articles have been publishing since 1989. In 1990 together with D.Bertman and A.PashkovskyGrigoryZaslavsky founded “Helikon-Opera” theatre. He was writing for “Moscow’s observer” and “Musical life” magazines and was an observer at “Radio of Russia” as well as at radio “Nadejda”, “Govorit Moskva” and “Mayak-24”. At “Mayak-24” he became later a deputy director of the information desk (2001-2007). In 1993-2001 and 2002-2016 – an observer and deputy chief of culture desk of “Nezavisimayagazeta” newspaper.
In 2001-2007 – a theatre columnist in “Noviymir” and “October” magazines, he received an award from the latter. In 2006-2016 – a chief editor in “Stanislavsky” magazine. Since 2007 – an observer at radio “Vesti FM” Since 2010 he’s teaching at Television School of the Moscow State University (MGU) Since 2015 – an anchorman of “Cultprosvet” show at “Mir” TV channel. In 2011-2016 – a Member of the Public Council in Ministry of Сulture, the head of the working group on theatre. Since 2016 – the Rector of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) Since 2020 GrigoryZaslavsky has been a member of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation. GrigoryZaslavsky is also known for his books on theater. His most known books are “Theatrical Moscow. Guide” (2009; 2011), “Demi-season book.Shows of Moscow’s theatres seen and described by Grigory Zaslavsky” (2011).
Mikhail Chumachenko is a senior lecturer of the drama directing department at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS). In 1989, he graduated from the directing department of GITIS, where his studies had been guided by Maria Knebel. The same year, he received the Allrussian theatre society award in the best moscow debut category for his performance the Anomalous ones. Over the course of his career, he has staged over 60 performances in Russia, former soviet countries, and worldwide, and has been noted by multiple awards at international theatre festivals.
From 1988 to 1992, he worked as a director at the Central theatre of the soviet army. From 2006 to 2008, he was the creative director of the Russian drama theatre in Tallinn. Since 2015, he has been appointed as the creative director of the Koleso theatre in Tolyatti. He teaches directing and acting, and is known as an author of directing workshops and master classes.
Anastasia Lupandina is an art critic, PhD, professor, one of the most famous specialists in decorative theatre art at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. She graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the history faculty of the art history department and postgraduate school there.
The themeof her thesis is “Artists of the Moscow Chamber Theater”. For many years she has worked at the Bakhrushin Theater Museum. She teaches the history of the decorative theatre art at GITIS Art History Department. She writes contemporary scenography articles for the “Scene” magazine, GITIS’ scientific collections and other publications.
Graduated from drama school in 2015. Since then Iakovos has been working as an actor and, most recently, an assistant director. He strongly believes in constantly evolving as an actor, so he attends seminars and master classes on a regular basis. He is interested in collaborating with foreign directors, for instance he has already worked with professionals from Canada, Taiwan, and other countries. He has also performed in Berlin and Istanbul.
Megan received a bain drama from the university of Washington and participated in a number of theatre performances in Seattle. Then, she enrolled into East 15 acting school at the University of Essex in the UK. She is currently pursuing an MFA in directing, continuing her studies in London.
Bartosz studied acting at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz theatre academy in Warsaw. In 2017, he launched an interdisciplinary project for general theatrical and cultural education. He is also the author of the educational project Save the show, which has received wide recognition, as well as funding from the ministry of culture and national heritage of Poland. Since 2006, he has been working as an actor at the Kazimierz Dejmek new theatre in Lodz. Currently, he teaches classes and master classes in theatre pedagogy. He is a prize winner of several theatre festivals.
Sofia graduated from East 15 acting school of the university of Essex majoring in world performance. She is seriously involved in choreography as she studied ballet, contemporary dance and stilt acrobatics. In terms of theatre Sofia performs as an actress, preferring characters of a broad spectrum. She took part in several film festivals in 2020, such as Astoria film festival, Frostbite international online film festival, Direct monthly online film festival.
Gabriel studied acting and visual arts at the fed¬eral university of Minas Gerais in Belohorizonte, Brazil. He also attended various extracurricular courses in acting, and for constant practice he performed in street and puppet theatres. In addition to acting, Gabriel is engaged in music and set design. The artist’s work has been recognized by several awards, such as the 2008 Novalima prize for his performance in a play, Usiminas Sinparc Award for best performance for children in 2010, and Natura Musical Award for performing in a music video in 2015.
From 2017 to 2020, Harry studied at the East 15 school of acting at the university of Essex, where he received a bain world performance. During his time at school, he enrolled in several internships at international educational institutions. In august 2017, he attended classes in traditional forms of Japanese theatre at the Kyoto arts center, and in august 2018, he took a course at the Indonesian institute of arts.
Learned acting at Giles Foreman centre for acting in Great Britain, and then got a bachelor’s degree from East 15 acting school of the university of Essex. Has a great interest in biomechanics and Stanislavsky’s system. As an actress, Gemma participated in plays of the Clifftown theatre in Southendonsea, Great Britain. Plans to expand her knowledge in directing, scenography, and costume design.
Born in Brazil. Got interested in theatre in his early teenage years, attended drama and acting classes. After getting a bachelor’s degree in law, he enrolled in Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Sao Paulo and got a master’s degree in education, art and cultural history. He then moved to Great Britain to study theatre directing at the East 15 acting school of University of Essex. He got into a few short lists of various theatrical awards, such as Arte Qualidade Brasil award in 2016 as a best drama director nominee, and also Shell Award as a best actor nominee. Currently working as a director and an actor in theatre and on television.
Graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in musical theatre. Attended numerous theatrical master classes, such as Springboard NYC at the american theatre Wing. Mikko adheres to the principles of the Stanislavsky system in terms of acting. Besides acting, he has various other stagerelated skills, such as jazz dancing, tap dancing, ballet, singing, as well as some writing experience. Mikko moved from the United States to London, where he is carrying on with his creative journey.
Graduated from Lodz film school. Monika is an experienced theatre actress, she’s currently working at the new theatre in Lodz. Throughout her career she has received many awards, including four Golden masks, as well as a bronze medal for her achievements in culture — the award was granted by the ministry of culture and national heritage of Poland. In 2005, Buchowiec debuted in film starring in Piotr Trzaskalski’s master, alongside russian actor Konstantin Lavronenko, portraying master’s love interest Anna.
Andrea studied at East 15 acting school of the university of Essex from 2010 to 2013. He got a badegree with a major in world performance. He’s currently obtaining a degree in directing at the same school. He got a few scholarships which gave him the opportunity to study chinese opera in Shanghai, traditional japanese theatre in Kyoto and traditional dance and drama in Bali. Moreover, Andrea has taught in schools of India, Kenya and South Africa. During one of his internships he got interested in filmmaking and even directed a few short films.
